At QEC, you have the right to:

  • Be free from abuse, neglect, violence and preventable injury
  • Have a say in all decisions about you and your child
  • Know who to speak to if you want some part of your care changed
  • Have an interpreter
  • Have an advocate
  • Provide feedback or make a complaint at any time


How to give feedback or make a complaint

QEC staff will listen with respect, take your concerns seriously and work with you to resolve them as early as possible. We will keep you informed and let you know next steps if further review is needed.

We’ve added board games and playing cards for parents and carers to use.

A brand-new caterpillar playboard has been installed outside the PlayRoom for children to enjoy.

“It would be helpful to have a timetable for when things are happening throughout the week.”

An updated weekly timetable is now on display to help you plan your days.

Weekly visits from our therapy dog Lonzo and yoga sessions now available.

The family education room is now set up as an alternative play space after 4pm.
