Clinical starter program

We offer a Clinical Starter Program for all new clinicians to help develop their skills and knowledge, and integrate them into their roles.

This program aims to grow clinical competency in using the Outcome-aligned Early Parenting Centre Clinical Practice Framework (Guidance) – a critical part of QEC’s Model of Care.

The Clinical Starter Program includes:

  • One Clinical Fundamentals Module (including clinical orientation)
  • Five Education Modules (Health & Wellbeing, Connection, Growth, Learning and Safety & Security)
  • Victorian Sleep and Settling Model of Care eLearning program.
  • Clinical Educator support: One-on-one time with a Clinical Educator every week for the first 4 weeks of your clinical practice

  • Gippsland Region: Morwell and Bairnsdale
  • Northern Metropolitan Region: Preston and Wodonga
