QEC’s active research program and implementation of evidence based practice approaches means we are well placed to lead education in the early parenting sector. Through partnership with research institutions, public and private sector health and welfare professionals, local governments and communities, we are able to promote the sharing of knowledge, set standards and lead change in caring for young children.

QEC professional development workshops cover the areas central to our core work. To view and register for QEC’s training programs please go to the Training Programs section. QEC’s education services also develop training workshops in response to identified development needs of our partner organisations in the early years sector. Please go to the Customised Training section for a list of topics most commonly requested. We are happy to consult with you to design and deliver the training package most suited to your needs.

QEC training programs are facilitated in our modern and well equipped training centre at our Noble Park facility or in other metropolitan, regional and interstate locations. Participants in QEC training programs include nurses, social workers, psychologists, therapists, family workers, teachers and childcare workers. These professionals work in areas such as universal and enhanced maternal and child health, primary health, early education and intervention, family and children’s services.
